Welcome to the 292-BABY Community! In Monroe County there are approximately 250 not-for-profit and proprietary child care centers combined, caring for thousands of our children. Each practitioner needs to receive 30 hours of training every two years. Maintaining ratio, substitute care and transportation all represent challenges when center practitioners attempt to get training during the workday. Nights and weekends offer additional opportunities but not without their own challenges.
