Hundreds of infants are adopted every year in Monroe County and there are thousands of adoptive parents, each with unique skills and challenges. "292-BABY" has joined with the Adoption Resource Network Inc. (ARNI) to create this opportunity for you to connect with other adoptive parents, request specific types of training or raise any number of issues unique to adoptive parents.
We ask that you Join the 292-BABY COMMUNITY. (You’ll need an email address) If you do, we can make you aware of new opportunities and get timely information out to you as your baby grows. By taking part in our surveys, you can let us know what you want so that we might better serve you. We NEVER share your information with anyone.
The following support services are available to you:
292-BABY – Call this free telephone service from 7:00 AM to midnight Monday through Saturday and 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Sundays to talk live with a pediatric nurse about any NON-EMERGENCY, child-related issue.
Television – "Parent Talk" a locally produced parent information television show is broadcast Monday through Friday over Cable Channel 4 at 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM reaching 210,000 homes in Monroe County.
Forums – chat with other adoptive parents, create your own "COMMUNITIES."
Surveys – monthly surveys take seconds to complete and give you the opportunity to communicate directly back to us and/or to vote on issues that are important to you.
